Yes Academey

The You’re Employed and Skilled (YES) Workforce Skills Academy is an initiative in partnership with Rome High’s College and Career Academy. The initiative aims to prepare 20 students for career success by equipping them with the skills needed to secure a livable wage job paying at least $18 per hour.

Throughout the school year, the student cohort will meet monthly during the school day to receive focused training on key employability skills that will help them thrive in the workplace. This program not only introduces students to real career pathways but also provides life-changing opportunities. Upon completion of the program in mid-May, participants will be offered a job.
