    Dear Chamber Members,

I wanted to update you regarding action the Rome Floyd Chamber took last week to represent all businesses in Rome and Floyd County regarding Covid: 19. We continue to update the page with relevant information and resources many times throughout the day and this will not stop.  We set-up www.romega.com/business-triage  This is a business resource page with up-to-date information and links for businesses and employers as they seek information and resources in order to make sound decisions.

We had conversations with many (GREIA) existing industry leaders last week, answering their questions, and advocating for them.  We sent the Georgia Chamber’s Survey asking for their participation from GREIA so as we advocate at the state level we have up-to-the-minute information. We will continue to make calls and provide information.  We are connecting the employer/manager to specific people resources when the questions are beyond our expertise.  I have asked and will continue to ask local attorneys and accountants to answer questions (at no charge) for those questions.  Thankfully, some have already obliged, and those conversations have taken place.
