• Coordinator, Client Relationships - Teams

    Scope of Position: WinShape Teams is an impact driven non-profit helping teams and leaders accomplish their purposes in a fulfilling way. The Coordinator, Client Relationships is a highly relational role that helps drive growth and impact for WinShape Teams by connecting teams and leaders with development experiences such as team retreats, open-enrollment leadership events, and coaching. This involves learning client needs, and helping clients choose the program experience that meets those needs most successfully. This role will primarily respond to inbound leads, though it also includes new business development and assisting with account management.  

    Reports to: Manager, Client Relationships - Teams   


    • Receives and responds to incoming leads and client inquiries (e.g., web inquiries, email inquiries, phone calls, referrals)
    • Conducts a needs assessment with potential clients and develops program proposals that match WinShape Teams’ content and program experiences with the client’s specific needs and desired outcomes
    • Works with members of the Event Planning team to ensure clear communication when a client moves to the next stage of the booking and planning process
    • Records new leads, client information, program information, and all related details in our Customer Management Systems
    • Communicates periodically with existing WinShape Teams clients to maintain a strong working relationship and offer solutions to ongoing and/or emerging needs
    • Assists the Manager, Client Relationships in developing a sales strategy to increase participation in all program experiences
    • Maintains comprehensive knowledge of all WinShape Teams experiences, the primary needs each experience is designed to meet, and the key benefits provided by each offering
    • Documents, tracks, and analyzes critical sales data such as leads, conversion rate, and trends
    • Engages in new business development as needed


    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
    • 2-3 years of experience with sales, marketing or account management
    • Ability to effectively negotiate rates, arrange schedules, and steward client budgets
    • Moderate computer proficiency and able to quickly learn new software programs
    • Able to travel during business hours, Monday through Friday, primarily to Atlanta, Chattanooga, and Birmingham; overnight travel requirement ~5% - 10%
    • Demonstrated ability to establish rapport, relate well, handle conflicts, and resolve issues with a diverse range of clients
    • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and maintain effective networks
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally, in writing, and in presentations to clients
    • A willingness to support and work in concert with WinShape’s Purpose and Core Values

    FLSA Status: Regular Full-Time, Exempt
