    Job Description
    PRIMARY ROLE IN THE ORGANIZATION: 
    Ensure machinery and equipment is maintained and/or repaired so it can safely be used to produce parts for customers 
    REPORTS TO: 
    Maintenance Supervisor
    SUPERVISES:
    NA
    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    1) Diagnose machine/equipment malfunctions and operating difficulties to determine needed repairs 
    2) Work with suppliers to effect repairs which are beyond in-house capabilities
    3) Rebuild machines and overhaul components
    4) Perform operations such as fitting, alignments, and adjusting of feeding and limit mechanisms
    5) Conduct machine/equipment preventative maintenance activities
    6) Complete various requested work orders as assigned
    7) Work in a safe manner utilizing LOTO and Safe Electrical Work Practices
    8) Willingness to conform to and enforce all company policies
    9) Lead your department/shift through training, coverage, communication, and turnovers. 
    10) Become point of contact for management and coordinate maintenance activities as needed. 
    11) Ensure adequate maintenance coverage for all shifts
    12) Comply with ALL hazardous waste management responsibilities
    13) Support ALL international standard certifications obtained by the company, including meeting customer requirements, delivering intended process outputs, identifying and communciating opportunities for improvement and following all document control program requirements.
    14) Ensure all customer requirement assignments are documented
    15) Ensure production is producing conforming product, if non-conforming product is identified production shall be stopped and/or shipment shall be stopped.
    16) Ensure customer requirements are fully achieved
    17) Ensure corrective actions are initiated following the identification of all non­conforming product
    18) Responsible for conforming to the IATF 16949, ISO 14001 :2015 standards, and meeting customers' requirements
    19) Other duties as requested.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    A. EXPERIENCE
    1) Working experience in all phases of injection, and assembly equipment
    2) Experience with electronics, robotics, programmable controllers, and calibration equipment
    3) Experience with preventative maintenance programs
    4) Good safety record
    B. EDUCATION
    1) Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology plus one to three years of experience
    OR 
    2) Five to seven years experience in a related field

    REQUIREMENTS:
    A. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
    1) Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis
    2) Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
    3) Must be able to push/pull up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis
    4) Must be able to work at elevated heights
    5) Must be able to work with and around a variety of chemicals

    B. EQUIPMENT USAGE
    1) Welders
    2) Various Metal and Wood Cutting Saws
    3) Grinders
    4) Cranes
    5) Powered Industrial Trucks
    6) Metal Brakes
    7) Injection Molding Machines, Vacuum Formers, Die Cast Machines, Robots, Etc.
    8) Various Hand and Power Tools
    9) Volt-Ohm Meter

    C. MENTAUCOGNITIVE DEMANDS
    1) Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
    2) Knowledge of hydraulic systems
    3) Knowledge of injection molding machines
    4) Knowledge of robotics
    5) Knowledge of electronics, programmable controllers, and calibration equipment
    6) Basic fabrication skills
    7) Equipment troubleshooting skills
    8) Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays
    9) High mechanical acumen
    10) Proven ability to delegate and direct other associates
    11) Good verbal and written communication skills
    12) Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize activities
    13) Good problem solving skills
    14) Ability to work with little supervision
    15) Team oriented
    16) Knowledge of all safety related procedures associated with Maintenance activities

    D. TRAINING
    1) Must successfully complete hazardous waste training within six months after the date of employment or assignment to the facility, or to a new position at the facility, whichever is later.
    2) Must take part in an annual review of the initial hazardous waste training.
