• AD Shipping Supervisor

    Department: Production Control / Shipping & Receiving
    Reports to: Production Control Manager

    Responsibilities: 

    Pull load from storage area
    Scan loads to create documents
    Load trucks
    Unload trucks of returnable containers and move to proper storage area
    Process order from EDI
    Create paperwork for shipment and maintain shipping files
    Assist with customer concerns
    Unload and receive all items delivered to NRI
    Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly
    Pull material orders and deliver to production areas
    Maintain accurate inventories in storage areas
    Support the production department with empty packing as needed
    Move stock the appropriate storage area
    Move all necessary materials
    Build load for efficient trailer utilization
    Adhere to all ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements
    Put all incoming products in appropriate areas after inspection
    Hookup and unload any bulk tanker trucks
    Supervise hourly shipping / receiving associates
    Any other duties assigned by manager

    Requirements:
    Ability to operate fork lift
    Control of shipping in / out
    Packaging setup
    Work flexible shift hours
    Work overtime on short notice
    Basic knowledge of inventory control
    Ability to work with limited supervision
    Good communication skills, written and verbal
    Good organization and problem solving skills High School, GED or work related experience

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    A. EXPERIENCE
    1) Previous experience using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Databases
    2) Manufacturing Background
    3) Strong Analytical Skills

    8. EDUCATION
    1) High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
    2) Microsoft Office experience.
    3) Project support experience

    REQUIREMENTS:
    A. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
    1) Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
    2) Must be able to travel with short notice.
    3) Ability to work flexible hours if required.

    This position is for the 2nd shift ( 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm).  There is a shift differential of $0.25 per hour.  Neaton has excellent benefits including a 401(k).
