    Job Description
    Personal Injury Law Firm is seeking a professional paralegal/legal secretary with no less than 5 years experience in the legal field.  A qualified applicant must (1) be a Team Player who is willing to cheerfully take dictation; accurately file documents; file pleadings in various area courthouses; organize files; run office errands; make copies; assist the receptionist with answering the phone; maintaining Excel spreadsheets; draft long, detailed demand letters; review medical records; meet with clients; assist in responding to discovery requests; discuss claims with adjusters; update clients on case progress; prepare documents for use in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials; compose memos summarizing facts or documents; schedule depositions; arrive to work timely; and be available for overtime when necessary; (2) be meticulous; (3) be a self-starter who can work independently; (4) have a good memory; (5) be technically proficient in Word, Excel, and Adobe; (6) have a good understanding of various electronic filing systems including ECF/CM, PACER, eFAST, Odyssey, PeachCourt, and ICMS; and (7) be willing to learn and use case management software (AMICUS), ExhibitView, and TranscriptPro.
