    Business Process Analyst: The Business Process Analyst will enhance operational efficiency by analyzing and developing business processes in alignment with the organizational strategy. They will evaluate current processes and identify areas of improvement using proven continuous improvement techniques such as Lean and/or Six Sigma. The primary purpose of this role is to deliver process improvement solutions across complex, technical, and cross-functional processes that help management achieve business goals and yield increased financial return. This includes responsibility for executing process improvement projects to remove waste, and defects. The Business Process analyst will work closely with the project management and operations team to establish new processes in alignment with best practices when implementing new technology, software, or business initiatives. The Business Process Analyst will report to the Sr. Director of Strategic Decision Support.

    Business Process Analyst:

    The Business Process Analyst will enhance operational efficiency by analyzing and developing business processes in alignment with the organizational strategy. They will evaluate current processes and identify areas of improvement using proven continuous improvement techniques such as Lean and/or Six Sigma. The primary purpose of this role is to deliver process improvement solutions across complex, technical, and cross-functional processes that help management achieve business goals and yield increased financial return. This includes responsibility for executing process improvement projects to remove waste, and defects.

    The Business Process analyst will work closely with the project management and operations team to establish new processes in alignment with best practices when implementing new technology, software, or business initiatives.

    The Business Process Analyst will report to the Sr. Director of Strategic Decision Support.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Document and implement process changes/modifications.
    2. Work with front-line leaders to create and update business process documentation, conduct periodic reviews to ensure continued accuracy.
    3. Facilitates lean problem solving with various teams to identify areas for optimization.
    4. Using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, monitor processes and procedures to evaluate and improve the company’s business operations.
    5. Create and refine business processes based upon organizational strategic goals.
    6. Perform data analysis on key performance indicators to identify cause and effect relationships, providing recommendations to operations on how best to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency.
    7. Perform root cause analysis using research from multiple perspectives, including data analysis, personnel interviews and process analysis.
    8. Assists various levels of management and teams throughout project and during implementation of recommended changes.
    9. Prepares the necessary end to end analysis to support recommendations.
    10. Ensure that processes are defined, documented, efficient and scalable.
    11. Prepares presentation materials to support project initiatives and solicits feedback from the field on relative importance, feasibility, and buy-in.
    12. Develop and maintain a close working relationship with business units to ensure a good understanding of the business and get advanced visibility of changes that would affect overall business productivity and efficiencies.
    13. Develops project approaches and prepares detailed work plans for completion of projects

    Skill Set Requirement:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, operations or related field required
    • Certified in Lean Six sigma required.
    • 3 - 5 years’ experience in business process methodology, process improvement or value stream mapping
