Personal Care Home Director
This is a full-time position, requiring interpersonal skills to interact with staff, patients, doctors, nursing staff, case managers, community agencies, and families of clients daily. Under the direction of the Executive Director the Personal Care Home Director oversees the personal care facility. Ensuring that programs, services, and maintenance are carried out correctly and that employees adhere to all policies set forth by NWGHA, CCSP, Medicaid, and other programs. The Personal Care Director will be dedicated to continually improving the services provided to care for clients and facilitating an ideal environment for staff, friends, and family.
The successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Social Services, or related area of study with a minimum of three (3) years of related work experience. A clinical background is preferred. Previous management and administrator experience with direct supervision of a team of at least ten (10) staff. Must have experience in Medicaid waivers. Possess the ability to manage a high workload, multitask projects, and competing priorities, with strong attention to details, excellent organizational and management skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. Salary commensurate with experience.
