    Job Summary

    This position performs technical duties in the maintenance and repair of campus buildings.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Repairs and maintains building HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems
    • Performs roof repair, building and room remodeling, and other carpentry duties
    • Completes work orders and associated paperwork
    • Inspects and tests fire alarm panels, emergency lighting systems, fire extinguishers, and other life safety systems
    • Repairs, opens, and replaces locks
    • Cleans gutters
    • Paints building interiors and exteriors
    • Responds to after-hours emergencies
    • Moves office furniture and hangs pictures
    • Installs parking lot signs and street bumpers
    • Performs related duties

    Required Qualifications

    • High school diploma
    • 1 -2 years of related experience
    • Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver’s license for the type of vehicle or equipment operated

    Proposed Salary

    $30,000-$31,000

    • Knowledge of the installation, repair and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems

    • Skill in oral and written communication
