• Clinical Coordinator for Radiology

    Georgia Northwestern Technical College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Clinical Coordinator for Radiology at the Floyd County Campus.  The clinical coordinator is responsible for performing all aspects of instruction for the radiology courses, evaluation of students, assisting with program accreditation, academic advising, and assisting in developing and maintaining the Advisory Committee for the Radiology Program.
     
    Must be proficient in curriculum development and supervision. Skilled in the operation of computers and job related technology and software. Excellent classroom and practical lab management skills, oral and written communication skills and interpersonal relations.
     
    Required Qualifications:  Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution.  Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist – RT(R) from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning.  Must have 2 years clinical experience in the professional discipline and 1 year experience as an instructor or Preceptor in a JRCERT accredited program.
     
    Preferred Qualifications:  Three (3) years work experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist within the last 5 years. Certifications in Computed Tomography, Mammography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Experience teaching at another college within the Technical College System of Georgia.  Online teaching experience using Blackboard LMS.
