    Position: Academic Records Coordinator, full time

    Position Summary:  The Academic Records Specialist is responsible for specific operations of the Registrar’s Office and reports to the Registrar.
     
    Qualifications: Excellent organizational, analytical, and computer information system skills, demonstrated ability to work independently on multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy, excellent verbal and written communication skills, sound judgment in applying complex guidelines and regulations, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the campus community. Experience in a University Registrar’s Office or similar educational administrative setting. Bachelor’s degree required.
     
    Responsibilities include:

    • Assist with commencement preparation and ceremony activities
    • Print diplomas for traditional, review them for accuracy before the President signs, and serve as backup for online
    • Perform a file audit each session for traditional and serve as backup for online
    • Perform degree audits & provide accurate updates to students and advisors for traditional and serve as backup for online
    • Process Latin honors for traditional and serve as backup for online
    • Process course substitutions for traditional and serve as backup for online
    • Process internship and independent study requests
    • Serve as backup for transcript requests
    • Coordinate the dual enrollment registration program
    • Input and maintain the course schedule
    • Assist with maintaining the academic catalog
    • Evaluate international transcripts
    • Process academic dishonesty forms and undergraduate academic standing
    • Manage room reservations
    • Perform departmental credit card reconciliation monthly
    • Check work to ensure accuracy based on office and academic policies
    • Prepare paper files and documents for the imaging process
    • Provide data to other areas as requested after consultation with the Registrar
    • Provide excellent customer service all times with students, faculty, and staff
    • Serve as a backup as needed to ensure smooth office operations
    • Perform all front desk duties based on assigned schedule and as needed
    • Other duties as assigned
