The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Georgia is seeking a motivated self-starter with strong organizational and multitasking skills to serve as its Office Administrator. Some keys tasks of this position include financial management including the recording of receivables and payables, some grant and contract reporting, and processing payroll through ADP; office administration such as answering phones and maintaining office supplies inventory; some HR administration such as processing new hire paperwork and annual background checks; and other general duties as assigned.
Applicants must be attentive to detail, use sound judgment, and possess a clean criminal background and drug screen. The position is 40 hours per week, 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday. Compensation is based on qualifications but usually ranges from $17.79 - $19.23 per hour plus benefits.
Applicants must have a four-year degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.
Applicants should also have excellent verbal communication skills coupled with strong interpersonal skills; have the ability to work as part of a team and on an individual basis; have a demonstrated ability to accomplish multiple tasks under strict deadlines; and have high standards of ethics and integrity. Prior financial experience working with payables and receivables is required. Prior experience working with QuickBooks and ADP is highly preferred.
