  • Every year the Rome Floyd Chamber honors outstanding members with the Small Business of the Year Award, Emerging Small Business, and the Exceptional 7 awards for young professionals. Nominations are open for all three awards until Monday, January 4, 2021. Nomination forms are below. Nominate your friends, neighbors, colleagues or even yourself.   • Small Business of the Year

  • Each year the Rome Floyd Chamber recognizes one outstanding small business by awarding a Chamber member with the Small Business of the Year award.
     
    Criteria:
    1.Nominee must be a Chamber member.
    2.Nominee must be active in the Rome Floyd Chamber.
    3.Nominee must be located within Floyd County.
    4.Nominee must be a for-profit entity.
    5.Nominee must have 50 or fewer employees.
    6.Nominee must have been in business for at least five years.
    7.Nominee must have an owner or manager that has been active in the day-to-day management of the business for the last five years.

  • Emerging/Breakout Small Business of the Year

  • The Emerging Small Business of the Year Award was awarded for the first time in 2020. This award honors new and upcoming businesses as they open and grow their business.
     
    Criteria:
    1.Must be an active member of the Rome Floyd Chamber.
    2.Must be located in Floyd County.
    3.Must be a for-profit entity.
    4.Must have 50 or less employees.
    5.Must have opened or gained ownership of the business within the last five years.

  • Exceptional 7 - Young Professionals Award

  • The Rome Floyd Chamber’s Exceptional 7 Young Professional of the Year award is coordinated by the Rome Floyd Chamber and Bridges magazine, the Exceptional 7 is designed to cultivate and showcase young professionals in Rome and Floyd County.  
    
    Criteria:
    1.Young Professional must work for Chamber Member in good standing.
    2.The young professional also must be 35 and under on January 4, 2021
