Located at the foot of the Appalachian Mountains, Floyd County's altitude ranges from 650 to 1,500 feet above sea level. It is located at the center of a triangle formed by the cities of Atlanta, Birmingham, and Chattanooga.
DIRECTIONS FROM ATLANTA TO ROME
--Take I 75 North
--Take exit 290 to Rome
--From the exit ramp, turn left at the stop light onto Highway 20
--Take a left at the 3rd traffic light
--Make immediate right turn up ramp
--Take exit to 411 South to Rome (this is also Highway 20)
--Highway 20 runs into Rome and becomes Turner McCall Blvd. This is one of the main streets in Rome.
To get to the Chamber of Commerce:
--At the 5th traffic light on Turner McCall Blvd., turn left onto Broad Street.
--At the second intersection, turn right onto Riverside Parkway. The Chamber will then be on your left. Parking is available next to the building, off of West 1st Street.
DIRECTIONS FROM CHATTANOOGA TO ROME
--Take I-75 South
--Take Exit 306
--Take a right onto Georgia Highway 53
--Follow Highway 53 for approximately 25 miles into Rome
To get to the Chamber of Commerce:
--From Highway 53 (North Broad Street) veer to the right at Broad Street, cross Turner McCall Blvd.
--Turn right onto Riverside Parkway. The Chamber will then be on your left. Parking is available next to the building, off of West 1st Street.
DIRECTIONS FROM BIRMINGHAM TO ROME
--Take I-59 North
--Turn right onto I-759 East
--Turn left onto US 411 East
--Take US 27 North into Rome (This becomes Turner McCall Blvd.)
To get to the Chamber of Commerce:
--At the 5th traffic light on Turner McCall Blvd., turn left onto Broad Street.
