RecoverMD LLC is an environmentally oriented company that collects soiled single use (disposable) medical devices after surgery that would otherwise be thrown away. Thus, RecoverMD supports the hospital’s “Go-Green” sustainability goals by reducing their medical waste.
“RecoverMD is elated to be launching in Rome and looks forward to creating dozens of local jobs while delivering economic and environmental benefits to the Rome and US healthcare provider community,” said their President & CEO Kurt Tarter
“The key to success for every start-up company is having the right relationships in place from the beginning. The slogan at the Rome Chamber is: "Entrepreneur Friendly". Al Hodge and his team at the Chamber back up these two words with action. They have brought together the investor & revenue relationships to make RecoverMD a reality. The Rome Chamber & community creates an incubator environment that enhances an entrepreneurs chance for success,” said their President & CEO Kurt Tarter
“We like the fact that RecoverMD is an entrepreneurial company and proves that Rome, Georgia is where it can happen,” said the Mayor of Rome, Mr. Jamie Doss.
