Rome, GA – The Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce, the City of Rome and Floyd County are pleased to announce that Sykes Enterprises, Incorporated (SYKES) is opening a new customer contact center in Northwest Georgia. SYKES Rome will move into the Berry Corporate Center located at 25 Legacy Drive bringing more jobs to the Rome area.

These services are delivered through multiple communication channels including phone, e-mail, social media, text messaging and chat. SYKES’ center in Rome will emphasize inbound customer care and technical support.

Jimmy Byars, the CEO/Broker of Hardy Realty & Development Company worked closely with the Chamber in recruiting SYKES to the community and brokered the deal. Sam Pruitt with Site Selection Group was the site selection consultant.
SYKES will host a job fair on Wednesday, August 17, from 9 am to 3 pm at the Forum Civic Center at 301 Tribune Street in Rome.
