Annual Meeting:
Held each January, it is during this event that the Chamber Chairman passes the gavel to the new chairman, names the Ambassador of the Year and presents the Small Business of the Year award. |
Business After Hours:
Networking events held during the evening hours throughout the year that are geared toward providing social and business contacts for our members. |

Business Before Hours:
Networking events held during the morning hours several times each year with a primary function of introducing new members to existing members. |
Expo:
A two day event held each Fall that spotlights approximately 90 participating business members. |

Leadership Rome:
Now in its 26th year, this program work to identify and develop the leaders of tomorrow. Each fall around
25-30 participants from a variety of business backgrounds are selected from hundreds of nominations. The selected class participates in an orientation/ icebreaker, ropes course, overnight fall and spring retreats, and monthly six hour sessions focusing on different areas in the community. |
Leadership Rome High School:
Now in its 21st year, this program works to identify the youth leaders of today and prepare them to become the adult leaders of tomorrow. High School students are selected from the local private and public school systems to participate in an orientation / icebreaker, ropes course, and six day long sessions designed to educate them about the community in which they live. This program also encourages friendships that cross school boundaries.

Day at the Capital:
A delegation of volunteers from the Chamber travels to Atlanta each spring to discuss pertinent issues and opportunities for Rome and Floyd County with our state Senator and Representatives. |

Washington, DC Trip:
A delegation of volunteers from the Chamber travel together each spring to present pertinent issues and opportunities for Rome and Floyd County to Georgia's U.S. Senators and Representatives as well as other Federal officials. |
Future Industries Initiative:
Works to identify medical and technology based companies that could be recruited to Floyd County to take advantage of our current educational and medical assets. |
Leadership Rome Alumni Association:
This group consists of previous Leadership Rome graduates and works to continue the effort of community involvement. Their dues partially fund the high school leadership program and provide scholarships for the adult program. |
