Ambassador's Club

Mission Statement:  Promote Member relations through attendance and involvement during Chamber functions; to increase membership in the Chamber through membership recruitment and communications with existing Members.

Guidelines:  Due to the special purpose of this committee, members are to be appointed by the chairperson.  There will be a maximum of 25 Ambassadors. New Ambassadors will be selected, as space becomes available.  Selected members must be knowledgeable about the Chamber.  They will be kept informed by their participation at Chamber events, reading of Chamber periodicals, and periodic emails.

Members shall be allowed a period of two years for active participation status before rolling off the points system roster to the VIP Club, where they may maintain their active participation without accumulating points.  This allows persons on the waiting list to become active.  After a two-year absence from “active” duty, the VIP member may reactivate to the points system if there is availability, or be added to the waiting list.  If there is no one on the waiting list and an active member completes their two year active period and wishes to stay on active status, they may do so for another one year period.  The waiting list has precedence over the active member who is to roll off.

Mandatory Responsibilities:  Maintain a minimum of 4 points per quarter, Must attend at least two of the quarterly meetings during the year, Must participate in Membership Drive and Operation Thank You, and Act as a positive community liaison for the Chamber.
