    Job Description
    The West Rome Boys & Girls Club is seeking program staff members to contribute to the planning and implementation of the Club wide objectives of helping youth reach their full potential in academics, health and fitness, and character and citizenship. Applicants will be required to ensure safety, provide adequate supervision, maintain structure for club members within assigned program area, facilitate targeted programs, maintain accurate data, and participate in field trips and other club duties as deemed necessary.

    Applicants must enjoy working with youth of all ages and diverse backgrounds, be attentive to detail, use sound judgment, and possess a clean criminal background and drug screen. This is a 15 - 20 hours per week position during the school year, approximately 2:00pm-6:00pm. The position may increase to 40 hours per week during the summer months of June and July. Compensation is based on qualifications but usually ranges from $8.00 - $10.00 per hour.  

    Applicants should have excellent verbal communication skills coupled with strong interpersonal skills; have the ability to work as part of a team or on an individual basis; have demonstrated leadership skills; and have high standards of ethics and integrity. Prior experience working with youth of different ages is not required, but is highly preferred.
