    Job Description

    Scope of Position: The Cook 2 position is responsible for cleaning and organizing Food Service areas, equipment and china. This position will assist in all areas of food preparation and back-up the steward position.

    Reports to: Coordinator, Food Service


    • Prep, cook, present, and store the product in the Food Service department to the expectation of the Manager of Food Services and Health Department
    • Clean and sanitize all areas of the Food Service department including, but not limited to: sweeping and mopping of floors, work tables, equipment, plates, glasses, silverware, pots and pans and removal of garbage
    • Assist with load check-in, storage of product, dining room areas set up and break down, inventory and organization of Food Service department
    • Serve, engage and accommodate the needs of WinShape Retreat guests
    • Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned by Food Service


    • Culinary diploma or minimum of 1-3 years kitchen experience
    • Demonstrated interest and aptitude for increasing skill level and acquiring new skills relative to food
    • Willing to assist others whenever
    • Committed to being present at appropriate times to work – up to 30 hours per week, all shifts, all
    • Demonstrated knowledge of health codes - ServSafe certification preferred
    • Valid driver’s license required
    • Basic computer and math skills
    • Ability to lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 25
