Diesel Equipment Technology Program Instructor
Description: Georgia Northwestern Technical College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Diesel Equipment Technology Program Instructor at the GNTC Whitefield Murray Campus, located in Dalton, Georgia. In addition, the successful applicant will advise students in the Diesel Equipment Technology program and participate in institutional activities.
Required Qualifications: Diploma in Diesel Equipment Technology from a regionally accredited institution with verifiable credentials, qualifications, or competencies appropriate for teaching the course content. Must have at least three (3) years of work experience in a position related to Diesel Equipment Technology within the last seven (7) years. Strong written and verbal skills. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
Preferred: Associates, two-year, college degree in Diesel Equipment Technology; Post-Secondary Teaching experience preferred, curriculum development, and program recruitment experience in a two-year college environment. ASE Certification. Three or more years of industry experience. Excellent technology and classroom management skills.
