    Job Description
    Georgia Northwestern Technical College is seeking qualified applicants for the Coordinator of Recruitment and Student Life.  The Coordinator of Recruitment and Student Life is responsible for coordinating recruitment and student life events across all GNTC campuses.  This person will assist in recruitment events, manage all aspects of the Student Life Program and serve as the advisor for the Student Government Association.   In addition, this person will develop, coordinate and implement intramural programs and coordinate GNTC’s Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership program.  This position will report to the Floyd County Campus though many duties will require travel to and work completed across all GNTC campuses and service delivery area.
     
    Required Qualifications:  The applicant must possess a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university and have at least two years related work experience.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a customer service oriented attitude, proficiency in the use of technology in an office environment, and the ability to multi-task and work as a team member in a fast paced environment.
     
    Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an education environment with working within a multi-campus operation.  Demonstrated experience in event planning.
