SIZE: 64 acres
LOCATION: Highway 53 at West Hermitage Road
RAIL: Norfolk Southern Main Line (Nearby). Two switching crews, six days a week.
WATER: Floyd County Water Dept., 12" Main, Hydrant #F1-239 at the intersection of Hwy. 53 and West Hermitage Road has Readings of: Static 110 psi, Residual 78 psi, at 1574 gpm.
SEWER: City of Rome, 18" Main parallels the railroad. 12" line serves the site. Activated sludge treatment plant (upgraded in 1986) with a capacity of 18 million gpd. Current use is 12 million gpd. The City of Rome is a state permitting agency for sanitary waste. A pre-treatment ordinance is in place.
GAS: 4"/300 lbs. high pressure main. An 8"/260 lbs. main is located 1/2 mile south of the site and has adequate capacity should more service be required.
