| This 295-bed facility operated by the Georgia Department of Human Resources, Division of Mental Health, Mental Retardation, and Substance Abuse. NWGRH provides emergency receiving, evaluation and treatment for people with severe mental health and substance abuse disorders. They provide inpatient psychiatric services to adults from a service area of sixteen counties in Northwest Georgia. In addition, NWGRH serves people with developmental disabilities from the North Georgia area, and operates a long-term residential treatment program for adolescent males from throughout Georgia. |
