Ridge Ferry Park Tree House

The opening of a handicap-accessible treehouse at Ridge Ferry Park was celebrated with a ribbon cutting. Nearly 50 people volunteered their efforts to complete the project.

Dippity Do-Da Dogs

Dippity Do-Da Dogs is a grooming, boarding and daycare business that has been in operation for more than 24 years. A ribbon cutting was held in honor of its relocation to 608 West 12th Street.

Town Green

A ribbon cutting was held for the grand opening of the downtown parking deck and town green located next to The Forum. The projects were funded through revenues from the 2006 SPLOST. The parking deck will provided extra parking for The Forum Civic Center Complex and those venturing in downtown Rome. The town green complements the pedestrian bridge on the bank of the Oostanaula River and features an interactive fountain where children can play.
