If your faith has a rich history and heritage, Rome and Floyd County can cater to your traditions with many churches that house diverse denominations and congregations.

These churches are the spiritual homes of people of faith, a founding principal in so much of the community, including several of our educational institutions.
Some of the church buildings are historical, featuring crafted stonework, woodwork and stained glass. Others are modern with state-of-the-art technology.

All are Welcoming.

There are more than 150 churches in the area. They serve a variety of denominations and faiths - Catholic, Protestant, Anglican, Lutheran, Jewish, Seventh-Day Adventist, Apostolic, Bible, Jehovah's Witnesses, Islam, Scientific, Pentecostal, nondenominational and still many others. We have traditional church sanctuaries as well as spiritual learning centers.

There are churches with thousands of members and small neighborhood ones that serve dozens of faithful members.
